Ava Pearl's Head of Household week in Big Brother Season 27 is almost at a close, and what a week it was. We saw some fresh faces on the nomination block and a new winner of the veto, but will we see someone unexpected go home this week?

CinemaBlend is streaming Big Brother online and after confirming the veto wasn't used, I believe I know who has the best odds of going home between Keanu Soto, Zach Cornell, and Vince Panaro. Here's how it looks at this point, and if Zach is going to regret not using his power.

Keanu Needs To Win The BB Blockbuster To Stay

While initially it seemed like Keanu would be safe this week as Houseguests debated if it was a better move to take out Vince and Zach given his position in the game, it seems everyone has gone full circle to getting out Keanu. He is the comp beast of the season, after all, with a handful of veto wins under his belt before the jury phase. Assuming he doesn't beast out and win the BB Blockbuster, he's going to go home regardless if it's against Vinny or Zach.

Vince Is Likely Leaving If He's Against Zach

Vince has been accused of "playing all sides" in the house, and hasn't been able to convince anyone otherwise as more Houseguests start to talk about the various deals they had with him. He seems like the more conniving player of the bunch, and frankly, his lack of competitive wins is the only thing saving him in the eviction vote if he's up against Keanu. That said, the projected votes between him and Zach are razor thin, and it'll be the most interesting scenario if it comes down to those two.

Zach Isn't Out Of The Woods Yet

Zach may be able to skate through this week unscathed after his tremendous misplay of not spending his $10,000 for guaranteed safety, but as mentioned above, the margins between him and Vince are razor thin. As Ava mentioned in the episode, she wants Vinny to stay over Zach, and with the support between the two, there's a decent chance she may have to break the tie and pick who goes home.

For that to happen, Vince would need Mickey Lee to break in his favor. As of writing, she seems pretty steadfast on keeping Zach in the game, which would prevent a tie and ensure that Zach lives to fight another week and avoids getting added to the list of worst game moves in Big Brother history. Things can always change, though, so don't be surprised if the vote gets wild if it's between Zach and Vinny.

Appearing on the Where Everybody Knows Your Name podcast, hosted by Orville cast member Ted Danson, Seth MacFarlane says he specifically created The Orville as a sort of counterbalance to the rest of television, which he says is too pessimistic. MacFarlane said:

It’s difficult to argue with Seth MacFarlane’s assessment. Optimistic just isn’t a word you would use to describe most shows on television right now. Those shows are still good. MacFarlane himself calls out the dystopian The Handmaid’s Tale by name as a show that he says he loves, but he just thinks there are too many shows that take its same approach,

Seth MacFarlane clearly believes that Hollywood has the power to influence people, but he thinks there’s too much focus on stories that are about characters and worlds that we should try to avoid. He thinks we should also get stories about heroes that we want to be and about worlds that we may be able to live in if people make the right choices. MacFarlane continued:

MacFarlane actually uses the old He-Man cartoon series as an example of a show that gave him the sort of aspirational message that he now thinks is lacking in pop culture. He-Man would occasionally save his own enemies, because he knew that was the right thing to do. MacFarlane doesn’t think we have as many heroes on screen who act as examples of the sort of people we should want to be.

In the end, Seth MacFarlane feels that making those positive stories is something Hollywood should be doing because he believes the industry can impact people in a positive way. While some celebrities try to effect change by speaking out politically, MacFarlane says that doesn’t really work because people don’t care. What people care about are the stories those celebrities tell. He said:

Of course, without The Orville making new episodes, we are without that optimistic viewpoint once again. Interestingly, MacFarlane references a potential Season 4, saying it has yet to be made, which would seem to indicate that might be happening. There were been reports of The Orville Season 4 going into production this year, though it's unclear if another season will ever actually happen. It certainly would be nice to have that optimistic voice again.

After having the release of Alien: Earth circled on the 2025 TV premiere schedule, especially after the high praise from critics, I caught the first two episodes on Tuesday evening, and have to say, I was really impressed with its debut. There’s enough to say about Noah Hawley’s Alien series that it would be pretty handy to have a smaller mouth inside of my normal one, despite any inherent communication issues. But what I want to really talk about is why it wasn’t this franchise's Xenomorphs that kept me on edge the most.

Alien: Earth Introduced These Terrifying Ticks That Had Me Shuffling In My Seat

Alien: Earth takes place two years prior to the original Alien movie on the franchise’s timeline, and instantly I felt like I was being transported to Ridley Scott’s original vision as the series started on a Weyland-Yutani deep space research vessel that ultimately crash lands on Earth with at least one Xenomorph and a bunch of other specimens on board. Of course, horrific scenes involving the Xenomorph(which were actually practically shot) were present and accounted for, but it was one of the new alien creatures that had my skin crawling.

We're introduced to these nasty little nightmares that look like ticks. When two Prodigy soldiers come on board after the vessel's crash landing, they are caught and tied up to a pole by Morrow (the cyborg from the ship’s crew). Then enter these bug-like aliens attaching themselves to their veins in the neck and sucking all the blood out of their bodies. As a result, they become much bigger, and these creepy things filled with human blood, and it's just gross and terrifying. Seriously, I want to jump around and swat ferociously at my arms and legs just writing about them.

The ticks aren’t the only new aliens in Alien: Earth, either, even if they're ones that could be hiding in your shoes and cereal boxes, just waiting for your blood. There are quite a few others to learn more about, and I think it’s really smart of the series to up the stakes with unexpected kills from aliens after so many Alien movies.

I'm Especially Stressed About The Group Of Hybrids Introduced In The Premiere Episodes

One of the major strengths of the Alien movies from the beginning has been the commentary on human nature through its science fiction lens. This very much continues in Alien: Earth with the plotline regarding Prodigy’s experiment on “Neverland” research island. In the series, its CEO and trillionaire Boy Kavalier has created a program where a group of kids who had terminal illnesses, like cancer, get a second chance at life through their consciousness transferred into a synthetic body, in a new Alien term called a Hybrid.

I’m absolutely locked in to the storyline of Sydney Chandler’s Wendy, who is the first Hybrid. When her brother, Joe Hermit, becomes part of the rescue team of the vessel, she insists that her and the other Hybrids go to aid in rescue. It wasn’t long in the mission before I started getting anxious about these children being placed in these stressful situations, just because now they are in a form that doesn’t easily break.

I can tell Alien: Earth is going to have me really thinking about what it means to be human as these children-turned-Hybrids continue to run around. There’s already interesting implications around whether they are still “human” or because they are in synthetic bodies, no longer having hormones running through their bodies, if they will become more like Cyborgs or Synths. So long as they stay away from my neck blood, however, we can be copacetic.

Anyway, I’ll definitely be catching the next episode, coming out next Tuesday, but count me satisfactorily stressed over this new entry of Alien already!

The cancellation of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert shook the internet and sparked a massive conversation. Now, there are questions about how this choice will impact the future of other late-night talk shows as well as variety programs like Saturday Night Live. While nothing has happened on this front in terms of these shows’ futures, SNL cast member Bowen Yang got candid about the possibility of “this Colbert shit” impacting the NBC series and whether they should all be worried or not right now.

Marc Maron asked Yang on his podcast, WTF with Marc Maron, if everything was going well at SNL. In response, the comedian said:

The host then asked why they wouldn’t be, and Yang replied with:

Maron then noted that the show is at NBC, and Yang said that he was right. However, while seemingly referencing the Paramount and Skydance merger and the potential for business deals like that to happen at other networks, he said:

Along with this point, they also spoke about how, in this media landscape that’s ever evolving to be more and more social media and clip-based, SNL doesn’t have to change. Meanwhile, late-night talk shows have had to adapt and evolve a bit more.

However, the political aspect of it all was at the base of this conversation. After Colbert’s program wound up on the list of canceled shows, there has been a lot of speculation about whether it was politically motivated. Doland Trump did say that he loved that The Late Show got canceled on Truth Social, via THR, and he said, “I hear Jimmy Kimmel is next.” However, amid this and Paramount Global’s merger with Skydance, it’s been maintained that Colbert’s cancellation was a financial decision.

To that point, Yang and Maron discussed the political satire on Saturday Night Live and whether they were worried about it. The long-time cast member specifically spoke about James Austin Johnson, who has been impersonating Trump on the show for years now, saying:

This notion of politics playing into what might or might not air on the 2025 TV schedule has certainly been amplified following the cancellation of The Late Show. The Wicked actor clarified that he’s not trying to make people scared; he’s simply thinking about how a show like Saturday Night Live might be impacted by the ongoing discourse. He explained:

Back when Colbert’s show was canceled, Bowen Yang reacted, telling iHeart Radio that it was “so tragic.” He also called it “a really dark day,” explaining that “the way that these networks are being consolidated is really, really bleak.” Those comments fall right in line with this discussion about the potential future of Saturday Night Live.

At the moment, it’s unclear if all of this will impact SNL or not. However, when it returns to the air for Season 51, we’ll be sure to keep you updated on what happens and how it fits into this ongoing conversation about the future of late-night television.

ESPN Is Establishing A Couple Changes To Inside The NBA During The Early Part Of Its Run

According to a new update, Inside’s new season is set to premiere after ESPN’s first NBA doubleheader of the season on October 22 amid the 2025 TV schedule. There’s a catch, however, as the show’s runtime will be shorter than fans are accustomed to. Sports Media Watch reports that the former TNT show will only air in a half-hour timeslot as opposed to having a 50-minute run as it typically would. ESPN specifically has the program set to air from 12:05 to 12:35 a.m. ET, and it’ll be directly followed by SportsCenter.

There’s another interesting wrinkle to this as well. Inside the NBA isn’t currently slotted to air on October 23, after its network’s second doubleheader of the season. However, the TNT-birthed NBA Tip-Off will precede both doubleheaders.

Additionally, Sports Media Watch notes that Inside doesn’t appear to have another set broadcast until the Christmas Day games. So viewers would theoretically be without the show for over two months. To be fair, Inside’s shortened runtime could just be a placeholder and change at some point in the future. Regardless, though, the notion of less airtime for hosts Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Shaquille O’Neal along with a significant hiatus isn’t sitting all that well with me.

What Have Media Personalities And Corporate Execs Said About Inside The NBA’s Move To ESPN?

For some time now, Charles Barkley has shared his honest thoughts on his Emmy-winning NBA show moving to a new corporate entity. He acknowledged the House of Mouse’s network as a leader in sports media, but he was also unsure as to whether the show would stay the same aesthetically. Ironically, Barkley just recently expressed concern as to whether he and his cohorts would have enough time on the air. On top of that, Sir Charles had also been awaiting specific information on his new work schedule.

Another media maven who has commented on this new chapter for Inside the NBA is sports journalist Bill Simmons. Earlier this year, Simmons didn’t mince words when saying that the talk show’s new network would damage it. Simmons’ logic was based on the fact that unlike TNT, ESPN’s programming is very commercial heavy, and it could cut into Inside’s dialogue-driven approach, which includes wild antics here and there.

Earlier this year, ESPN Inc. President Jimmy Pitaro addressed the prospect of changes being made to Inside the NBA. It was at that time that Pitaro said he didn’t expect major alterations to be made, and he emphasized that the four co-hosts would return. However, it’s hard to feel optimistic, given the new details of the fall schedule. There’s surely a chance that Inside won’t be changed for good. At the moment, as Charles Barkley would say, this just feels “turrible."

The “Wayward Sisters” backdoor pilot aired during the 13^th season of Supernatural back in January 2018, focusing on Jody (Kim Rhodes), Donna (Briana Buckmaster), Claire (Kathryn Newton), Alex (Katherine Ramdeen), as well as new characters Patience (Clark Backo) and Kaia (Yadira Guevara-Prip). Despite the intriguing concept and a core squad, The CW passed on moving forward with it. Now, seven long years later, showrunner Andrew Dabb has offered a window into what Wayward Sisters would have looked like, and I feel like mourning all over again. He told TV Insider

All fans really knew about Wayward Sisters around the episode's airing was that Jody and Donna were basically gonna be mentoring a young female group of hunters, with the beginning of Season 13 even setting up that backdoor pilot by introducing Patience and Kaia. It was hard to predict how different or similar to Supernatural the new show would have been, and learning all this years after the fact just makes it suck even worse.

Much more was in the theoretical pipeline for the spinoff, including digging deeper into one aspect of Supernatural in a different way:

Of course, it’s always hard to know if a project will perform well once fans have access, but Wayward Sisters boasted characters that audiences knew and loved, and the backdoor pilot also had a lot of action that likely spoke to what the tone would have been. To this day, I’m still sad that it never happened, though I also wonder how it would have fared at the time if The CW had given it a chance, especially compared to the prequel.

It doesn’t help that it sounds like there was a lot planned for it, and that Dabb is still feeling the hurt as well:

Supernatural did eventually finish the story that would have been explored on Wayward Sisters, so at least that was wrapped up, but it only made fans want the show even more. It’s definitely not the first show to get a backdoor pilot and not move forward, and it won’t be the last. It just sucks that Wayward didn’t get the chance to shine.

Maybe a Wayward Sisters-like show could happen later down the line or a Supernatural revival, but for now, fans will have to imagine what could have been. At the very least, the backdoor pilot is streaming with a Netflix subscription, which is better than nothing.

Talking with TVLine, Merced opened up about everything from her casting as Hawkgirl in Superman to her forthcoming appearance in HBO's Peacemaker Season 2 to, of course, HBO’s The Last of Us. Then, the interviewer tossed in a curveball from deep inside the fandom trenches: Should Ellie and Abby be shipped? The Alien: Romulus actress’s response was both diplomatic and delightfully unfiltered:

The Dora the Explorer actress is correct. In the game, Abby is very much straight, having had a past relationship with Owen, one of her fellow former Firefly and companions. Still, the second season faced criticism for various pacing issues and diversions from the source material. So, nothing is out of the realm of possibility. I think game fans would be upset, but the Dina performer says it could be cute. She continued:

As charming as a masc–masc pairing might sound, it’s probably not in the cards for these two. As Merced notes, the similarities between Abby and Ellie come from shared trauma — specifically, the loss of their father figures. And here’s where the spoiler warning kicks in: in The Last of Us Season 2 (and in the second game), Abby brutally kills Joel, Ellie’s surrogate father. That’s a long way from the kind of meet-cute most fans are rooting for.

What Was Brandon Blackstock’s Relationship Status Ahead Of His Death?

According to recent reports, Brandon Blackstock lived a relatively quiet life in Montana before he passed away. The former talent manager also reportedly spent time with his family amid his illness yet, up until now, no details about any significant others. Now, however, Blackstock’s obituary, which has been shared by Axelson Funeral & Cremation Services, reveals that he was romantically involved with Brittney Marie Jones – an ex-employee of Kelly Clarkson. The obituary lays out Blackstock’s relationship with Jones as follows:

From 2016 to 2018, Jones worked as a production assistant for the “Since U Been Gone” singer in Nashville, per People. Based on Jones’ Linkedin account, she became an executive management assistant for Blackstock in late 2018. However, she also continued to handle professional affairs for Clarkson. Jones’ career role apparently changed again around the time that Clarkson filed for divorce, as she became an exec. assistant for his ranch in Montana.

As of this writing, Britney Marie Jones has not publicly acknowledged the death of her partner. Meanwhile, Reba McEntire penned some sweet words while reflecting on her stepson.

Reba McEntire Honors Brandon Blackstock With A Tribute On Social Media

The Reba star was married to Narvel Blackstock, Brandon’s father, from 1989 to 2015. Even after her split from Narvel, McEntire remained close to the Blackstock family. With that, after Brandon’s death, the Voice coach took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos depicting her and her stepchild through the years. Additionally, the country music icon dropped this sentimental message:

Celebrities – like John Legend, Wynonna Judd and Kristin Chenoweth – subsequently flooded Reba McEntire’s comment section with condolences. All in all, McEntire’s bond with her extended family has seemingly been strong over the past several years. McEntire even expressed support for both Brandon Blackstock and Kelly Clarkson (who’s still a friend of hers) while the pair were in the midst of their continued divorce proceedings in 2021.

Brennan Elliott took to Instagram with a lengthy post to show gratitude not just to the viewers, but to his co-star. He said he considers himself “so blessed” to have worked with Lacey Chabert on 10 movies, but their personal connection means even more. He wrote, in part:

Brennan Elliott’s wife Camilla Row passed away in March after a long battle with cancer. She was first diagnosed in 2018, but Elliott first spoke publicly about it in 2022, when her cancer came back and she received a Stage 4 diagnosis.

We’re all looking forward to another movie starring Brennan Elliott and Lacey Chabert, but for now I really just hope Elliott is taking the time he and his kids need after their devastating loss.

As for Lacey Chabert, we won’t have to wait too long before we see her on the 2025 TV schedule again. She’s returning this fall to celebrate … Halloween? A third movie in the actress’ Haul Out the Holly series is coming soon, titled (appropriately) Haul Out the Halloween, which will see the residents of Evergreen Lane getting into the spooky season spirit. Some Of The Emergencies That'll Be On 9-1-1: Nashville Sound Wild

Up to this point, few details had been revealed about the exact first-responder situations that will be handled on the show, aside from a teaser previewing a fire tornado. Thankfully, Raisani finally revealed some of the "crazy emergencies while speaking to TV Insider. He specifically mentioned two, and I'm already feeling a bit anxious:

I'm not that surprised that Nashville will feature some major and crazy moments from the jump. After all, I'd imagine that Rashad Raisani and co. want to match the intensity of the 9-1-1 franchise's crazy emergencies. (I mean, that plane crisis from the mothership show isis hard to top.)

Still, the Airstream trailer situation sounds intense, and I'm already wincing at the thought of seeing someone impaled on a water tower. For Raisani's part, he seems very keen on upping the ante after showrunning Lone Star, which ended earlier this year. All in all, it sounds like viewers won't be left wanting when it comes to true thrills on Nashville. However, based on Raisani's other tease about the show, emergency-related drama isn't all that's in store.

Nashville’s EP Mentioned Two Major Shows While Teasing The 9-1-1 Spinoff

Obviously, with the show being set in the 9-1-1 universe, it’s to expected that that Nashville shares with share plenty of similarities with its two predecessors in certain respects. However, Rashad Raisani also revealed that this series will be a bit more dramatic than its sister shows. And, if you want an indication as to what he's going for, read on to see the two high-profile drama series Raisani's looked to for guidance:

Not only are Succession and Dynasty major shows, but they both have intricate soap opera elements to them. Of course, both 9-1-1 and Lone Star are filled with subjects related to romance, mental health and more. However, the shows Raisani mentioned have a lot of camp, and a similar vibe could make Nashville a very fun watch. Additionally, the cited drama shows deal heavily with power dynamics that are interesting and over-the-top. Considering that Nashville is set at the busiest firehouse in the city, power struggles could be quite entertaining to see on the show.

After hearing these latest teases, I'm feeling even more confident in the notion that 9-1-1: Nashville isn't just a copy of its sister programs. It seems there will be some keen elements that make it stand out. Of course, we'll just have to wait and see if that proves to be the case, but I'm pumped over the prospect of an ample amount of intense action and soapy drama. The upcoming 9-1-1 spinoff premieres on Thursday, October 9 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC, and it'll be streaming the next day with a Hulu subscription.

The drama is getting wild on Bachelor in Paradise, whose revamped 10th season is currently airing on the 2025 TV schedule. The introduction of a huge cash prize has couples spiraling and scheming, with much of the drama centered around Jeremy Simon going behind his partner Bailey Brown’s back. It all came to a head in Episode 7, and while bartender Wells Adams isn’t always my favorite, I couldn’t agree more with his comments about the cast’s “douchebag code.”

Look, I know Wells Adams is a beloved member of Bachelor Nation, and it’s probably an unpopular opinion, but I’m usually not here for the obvious disdain the bartender has for the young singles (or “drunk idiots,” as he calls them on the show). That said, he was SPOT-ON with his take on the Jeremy Simon situation, when Brian Autz was villainized for spilling the tea to Bailey Brown about her dude trying to get Susie Evans to come back. Adams said:

Since when is Wells Adams the voice of reason on Bachelor in Paradise? I don’t know, and I don’t care, because at least somebody was talking logic. I was so happy to hear him say this, because I also felt like I was going crazy. How did Brian Autz become the bad guy in this situation? The bartender continued:

Ugh, THANK YOU Wells. There was a lot of talk about bro code, but what about girl code? All of those women knew Jeremy Simon admitted to wishing he’d given his rose to Susie Evans instead of Bailey Brown, and he that he'd called Susie and asked her to come back. Why would they allow Bailey — their friend? — to be embarrassed like that on national television?

It was incredibly frustrating to watch, and I was so relieved to hear Wells Adams injecting a little common sense into the ridiculousness. Also, “douchebag code” is a rebrand I can get behind, and I can see why The Bachelorette alum was so proud of himself, writing on X:

Maybe I haven’t always been Wells Adams’ biggest fan, but he’s definitely winning me over with his take on this Bachelor in Paradise cast’s abhorrent behavior. Tune in to see more things get messy on the beach when Season 10 continues at 8 p.m. ET Monday, August 18, on ABC and streaming the next day on Hulu.

To say that Stephen Colbert is having an interesting year is to say that outer space sure is dark. The late night staple was thrown for a loop when CBS axed The Late Show ahead of its impending 11th season, as tied to parent company Paramount’s now-finalized merger with Skydance. Recent weeks’ episodes have seen the host taking shots at the Powers that Be, while also talking about what gig he might take on next, but fans won’t be seeing any of that during upcoming episodes.

That’s because The Late Show is taking a week off amidst all of the behind-the-scenes turmoil. Although it should be pointed out that this mini-hiatus was already planned and in the books, and isn’t a direct response to everything that’s gone down since the cancellation news. That said, it’s not necessarily the worst timing, either, although it comes at a point when The Late Show is enjoying a ratings surge. (More on that lower.)

A lot of the conversations surrounding The Late Show’s future, at least from the network’s perspective, revolve around the show’s financial failings, since Stephen Colbert hasn’t been nearly as successful as late night rival Jimmy Fallon by way of videos clips going viral featuring celebrities doing silly and ridiculous things. Outside of network rumblings, fans and haters alike have both surmised that the show’s heightened focus on partisan politics and an abundance of left-leaning politician guests also factored into the decision.

If that is indeed the case, then the choices for this week’s (and last Friday’s) repeats seem pointed enough. Here’s the lineup that CBS announced:

The Late Show's Hiatus Comes After Recent Ratings Wins

According to LateNighter, the aftermath of the CBS cancellation has been a boon for The Late Show's viewership numbers and its key demo ratings. In the week of episodes that ran from July 28-August 1, during which Colbert hosted four new episodes, the CBS talk show's average nightly audience was higher than the combined audiences of both Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

To be sure, all of Jimmy Kimmel's episodes that week were repeats, which may have had an impact on how that show's numbers looked.

Regardless, though, it does seem like Stephen Colbert's job issues have given him a slight advantage in the ratings, so it'll be interesting to see if he attempts to capitalize on that in any way going forward. I mean, we'll likely see him promote his upcoming Elsbeth guest spot ahead of it hititng the 2025 TV schedule, but what else?

Of all the upcoming Stephen King adaptations on the way, IT: Welcome to Derry is something of an outlier, in that it’s not directly adapting one specific novel or story, and is instead an extension of the author’s literary canon that will include connections to King’s other characters and stories, while also branching out from Andy Muschietti’s two chapters of IT films. So perhaps it’s surprising that the teasers and promo footage have refrained from showcasing Bill Skarsgard’s return as Pennywise, since the entity is the biggest returning element.

Thankfully, for lack of a more fitting word, we now have our best looks yet at the clown-painted monster that feeds on Derry’s citizens, only they come not from HBO directly, but from Funko, whose IT: Welcome to Derry Pop figures will be up for pre-orders this week in anticipation of the upcoming horror TV show’s October debut. Check out a handful of the early-bird collectibles below.

Now to sweat over my own personal reactions.

• Pennywise (Standalone) - Not much to react to here, since the figure isn't very different from the wave of Pennywise figures that were released for the two IT movies. Even the color scheme is the same.
• Bob Gray - I'm definitely intrigued by Pennywise's normie persona Bob Gray seemingly having a big enough presence in the TV show to warrant his own merch. Maybe the show will offer up some insight into why that name may be of import.
• Pennywise & Wagon - My excitement here is admittedly more for the wagon than for another average Pennywise figure. Sure, it's holding the signature red balloon, but it'd still be nice if the facial expression would be unique. Hopefully the wagon is filled with fair food at least.
• Skeleton Man - Aw yeah. Even in Funko Pop form, I can already tell this sumbitch is going to be a jolt to the eyeballs whenever it appears in the show. As far as I remember, there isn't technically a "skeleton man" from the IT novel, but its noseless face is reminiscent of the hobo that freaked Eddie out in the 2017 movie. Also weird for it to be called a "skeleton" while still having tufts of hair and a shitload of awkwardly placed teeth. That one shortened middle tooth is almost too unnerving.

While not necessary shocking, it is mildly surprising that none of the figures revealed for pre-ordering are of the fully human characters. In fact, DisTrackers also shared another X post for a Funko exclusive Pop figure of Pennywise holding the top half of someone's head upside down like a bowl while holding its tongue out above it. That is the kind of unique look I wish the others were able to utilize. But the fact that there are more Stephen King-related figures to collect is reason enough not to be too critical. But I do 100% want a Dick Halloran Funko figure from this show, especially if it goes for three seasons as it's planned to.

IT: Welcome to Derry is set to debut in October on HBO, and will be available to stream with an HBO Max subscription. Hopefully a more concrete premiere date floats up very soon.

Savchenko’s first season as a pro came back in Season 16, and after performing with the Troupe the following cycle, he rejoined as a pro from Season 23 onward. He was partnered with model Brooks Nader last time around, and the two made headlines for being steamy couple both on the ballroom floor and off. Their relationship has been similarly on and off, but after the trailer for the new reality show Love Thy Nader featured its namesake claiming proof of Savchenko's infidelity, he took to TikTok to subtly share his take on the situation:

Furthermore, Savchenko also addressed his future on Dancing With the Stars, which is set to premiere its 34^th season in September. Even though a full cast list likely won’t be announced for another couple of weeks, Savchenko seemingly already knows his fate, and it’s not good.

The pro dancer addressed comments and answered questions on the TikTok post, and after one fan shared their excitement about seeing him in the new season, Savchenko just had this to say:

Considering Savchenko has been a pro for over 10 seasons, it’s a surprise that he’d be removed from the next season without a bigger notice. That being said, with 33 seasons under its belt, Dancing With the Stars has seen many, many pros come and go from the ballroom over the years, with some even returning after taking a hiatus.

However, Gleb Savchenko admitted this was not his decision, replying to another fan comment's about a broken heart.

At first look, one might think that the timing of his absence would be coincidental, and perhaps caused by producers wanting to shake up the lineup. However, in response to another commenter who shared that they would be “giving that flop reality show zero attention,” the dancer shared more of a distinct cause behind his impending absence, saying:

There is likely more to the story than just what Nader says in her new show about their relationship, and anything Savchenko himself saying in social media comment threads should be taken with a grain of salt. Regardless, it seems like some kind of damage was done, and it's unlikely the full truth will come out all in one swoop.

It’s unknown who else will be returning or won’t be returning, but it shouldn’t be much longer until a full cast is announced for Season 34, which premieres on Tuesday, September 16 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, and streaming with a Disney+ subscription.

Big Brother is a game known for creating some of the best strategists and manipulative masterminds on reality TV, but I don't think we'll see any new faces of that emerge in Season 27. The cast at large has made some pretty reckless and outright bad gameplay decisions five weeks into the game. However, I think viewers have finally seen the one that may go down as one of the worst game moves in the history of the show.

CinemaBlend is streaming Big Brother online, watching the live feeds, and of course, reporting on how Ava Pearl's HOH week is shaking out after the latest veto win. As those who read spoilers know, Katherine Woodman won the veto and decided not to use it. Keanu Soto, Vince Panaro and Zach Cornell are still on the block, but only one of them has a secret power to remove themselves. So, based on this headline, what do you think happened?

Zach Did Not Trade In His $10,000 For Safety, And Has Missed The Window To Do So In Week 5

For those who might've forgotten, Zach won $10,000 in the Big Brother Season 27 premiere, and it came with a special power. In the diary room, he heard he could receive guaranteed safety from eviction for one week, so long as he gave the money to the acting HOH.

When I wrote about the results of the veto ceremony, I treated the scenario of Zach taking himself off the nomination block as a foregone conclusion. Even with Keanu and Vince beside him, it seemed like everyone in the Big Brother house realized he was someone who could realistically walk to the end of the game and win and needed to be evicted while they had the chance. As it turns out, it seems that was obvious to everyone but Zach, who only just realized the gravity of the situation after the veto meeting.

After a few conversations, Zach began to realize that if he lost the BB Blockbuster, he'd lose in an eviction vote regardless of whether it was against Keanu and Vince. Live feed viewers assumed that Zach still had time to use his power to get removed from the block, but as fans learned via his conversation with Morgan, that time has passed:

She's right, as anyone who wants to win Big Brother knows, you should never give up a chance at safety, especially when you're up for eviction. Even if Zach wins the BB Blockbuster, which feels like a tall order given he hasn't won any competitions since the premiere and is going up against the comp beast Keanu, it's hard to defend this move as anything beyond bad gameplay.

If Zach Is Evicted, It's In Contention For One Of The Worst Big Brother Game Moves Of All Time

If Zach does ultimately get evicted in Week 5 of Big Brother Season 27, I think his decision would certainly be in the running to become one of the worst game moves of all time. I know that others will make the argument that at least he left with prize money or try to rationalize how great it would've been for him had it worked out. I don't buy any of that for a few reasons that are specific to his situation in the house as it stands.

Zach was practically floating his way to jury with $10,000 in his pocket this time last week. Ava nominated him because she felt it was "what's fair," but the reality is he hadn't been on anyone's radar for eviction until the opportunity to evict him presented itself.

While it's impossible to predict what will happen going forward, if Zach survives nomination this week, there's a good chance he won't be nominated the following week. I guess, in the chance that he does, he's going to have another opportunity to use that veto to save himself but, if that happens, I don't want any revisionist history from the Big Brother fandom. Not spending the money to save himself was reckless and will likely haunt him if he goes home this week.

We will see what happens with Zach as Big Brother continues on CBS this week on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday at 8:00 p.m. ET amid the 2025 TV schedule. I'll be eager to see if he's able to somehow flip the house into keeping him over Vince in Keanu in the worst-case scenario but, at this point, it's not looking likely.

South Park’s creative team hasn’t pulled many punches when it comes to Season 27 thus far. The long-running animated series, which has made headlines on various occasions over the years, has already featured parodies of several high-profile political figures throughout its two latest episodes. Among the people to be lampooned is Kristi Noem – the U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security who’s been referred to as “ICE Barbie.” Noem wasn’t pleased with how she was depicted, but it seems the show has now doubled down.

During the episode “Got a Nut,” Kristi Noem is depicted as a member of ICE (United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement). The animated version of the public official is shown arresting people who she perceives as Hispanic, and she also kills dogs indiscriminately. Additionally, the cartoon version of Noem is particular about her appearance, as she not only engages in photo ops but also uses botox to prevent her face from melting.

After the real U.S. secretary chastised South Park, the series didn’t hold back from further showing off its take on her. The series’ official Instagram account shared an alternate version of the second episode’s end-credits scene, which was only available to Paramount+ subscription holders up to this point. During it, Noem is shown shooting up a dog-grooming salon. Below, from X, is that very scene, which Comedy Central watchers didn’t see:

That’s not the only way that South Park seems to be going all in on its critique of Kristi Noem. As of this writing, the show’s official Instagram account features a still of the animated Noem’s melting face as its profile photo. While reacting to the parody, the actual Noem took issue with the fact that the series would “criticize” her looks as opposed to simply chastising her job. Noem summed up the entire creative decision as “petty.”

By this point, the homeland security head honcho isn’t the only public official to have reacted to being parodied during a Season 27 episode. A version of U.S. Vice President JD Vance was featured in the season’s second installment and depicted as a physically diminutive assistant to President Donald Trump. Upon seeing a photo of his face, superimposed on a small animated body, Vance responded on social media by saying, “Well, I’ve finally made it.”

This latest season of South Park has also critiqued President Trump in a few ways. In the premiere, a fictionalized version of Trump is depicted as taking issue with the eponymous town, and the small character is later seen getting into bed with the Devil. Another segment from that same installment shows a video of a naked Trump roaming around the desert. The White House issued a response (shared with USA Today) and declared that “the show hasn't been relevant for over 20 years.”

Despite the flood of reactions from the likes of the White House and Kristi Noem, Paramount doesn’t seem to take issue with Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s fan-favorite show, which is still a major IP for the company. Its newly installed CEO, David Ellison, praised the series and its creators, calling them “equal opportunity offenders.” That aside, following the reveal of the Noem caricature and its subsequent virality, it remains to be seen what lies ahead for the rest of the season.

The Big Bang Theory's legacy is alive and well thanks to prequels Young Sheldon and Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage. Of course, while doing rewatches of The Big Bang Theory with an HBO Max subscription, you may remember that Missy, Georgie, Meemaw, and Mary were all introduced in the CBS sitcom, obviously played by different actors from the prequels. But casting still did a mostly good job when it came to casting Sheldon’s family, and the actress who played Missy on The Big Bang Theory is weighing in on whether she looks like Young Sheldon’s Missy.

Courtney Henggeler was first introduced as Sheldon’s twin sister, Missy, in the first season of The Big Bang Theory in 2008. Nine years later, Raegan Revord stepped into the role of Missy for Young Sheldon, and proved that Missy deserves her own spinoff, but that doesn’t mean that Henggeler doesn’t get asked about the prequel series.

While appearing on The Official BBT Podcast, the Cobra Kai star told host Jessica Radloff that her kids’ friend mistook her for Missy from Young Sheldon, and she had to say that she was the older Missy. Radloff didn’t think the mistaken identity was too surprising, pointing out that she and Revord have some family resemblance, and Henggeler couldn’t help but agree:

When you really look at Henggeler and Revord side by side, you can definitely see a bit of resemblance. Plus, the fact that Henggeler gets mistaken for Revord even despite the age differences means that they really could be sisters. The only thing that would really complete this is if they played mother and daughter or sisters on a project.

Perhaps the best casting for Young Sheldon was Sheldon’s mom, Mary. Just like Missy, she was introduced on TBBT first, in 2007, and recurred on the show through 2018. Roseanne star Laurie Metcalf played the role on Big Bang, and when it came time to cast Mary on Young Sheldon, casting didn’t have to look far for an actress with some resemblance, as Metcalf’s own daughter, Zoe Perry, landed the role. And it couldn’t have been a better choice.

Although Henggeler has retired from acting, a new spinoff is coming to HBO Max set after the events of The Big Bang Theory. Perhaps Sheldon’s twin will make an appearance even if she's not played by Henggeler. If anything, it seems like she will always hold Missy close to her heart, even the version that she didn’t play.

While it's been several years since Parks and Recreation's run on NBC ended, the workplace comedy remains quite popular. That's in great part due to streaming. Considering that continued buzz, it's hard not to wonder whether a revival or reboot will happen. That remains to be seen, but it turns out Chris Pratt is down to reprise his role as Andy Dwyer for a follow-up. Not only that, but Pratt has a wild idea for Dwyer that I think it too great not to, at least, be considered.

Parks and Recreation ran for seven seasons from 2009 to 2015. The show briefly returned in April 2020 with a COVID-centric special that saw basically the entire cast reprising their roles. A Zoom-based event, that production was well received and allowed fans to catch up with their favorite characters. As fun as the special was, a true-blue reunion movie or miniseries would arguably be even better. Chris Pratt spoke to Access Hollywood about the prospect of telling more stories set in Pawnee, Indiana, and I love his thoughts:

Chris Pratt's career has exploded since the mockumentary series concluded, as he's joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Jurassic World franchises. He also headlines The Terminal List (which is streamable with an Amazon Prime subscription).

It’s very sweet to hear just how much Parks still means to Pratt and that he also still thinks about Andy. During the COVID lockdown special, Andy was humorously revealed to have locked himself in his shed. That shed development seemingly indicated that Andy hadn't changed much but, if Pratt were to have his way, Dwyer would be a very different person in a reboot:

Fans of Parks and Recreation surely know that nothing is ever predictable when it comes to Andy Dwyer. Personally, I love the idea of him becoming a member of the wealthy town of Eagleton. Andy was already funny as he was on the show, but imagine an Andy who has more money than he knows what to do with. Of course, some may wonder how or why Andy's characterization would take such a turn. Well, Chris Pratt has put a lot of that in that as well:

Parks and Recreation is arguably one of the best sitcoms in NBC history, so it wouldn’t surprise me if a reboot were to happen sometime in the future. Of course, that would surely depend on whether the show's EPs have an idea that's worth executing. Plus, the producers are also busy with other projects. For example, it was reported earlier this year that Amy Poehler and co-creator Mike Schur would reunite for a brand new streaming show.

So, for now, a Parks and Rec revival feels relatively far out of reach. Nevertheless, I'm holding out hope that something comes to fruition and that the original cast and crew return. Of course, I'm also praying that fans will one day get to see a hilariously snobby Andy Dwyer living it up in Eagleton.

At the moment, fans can enjoy all seven seasons of Parks and Recreation by streaming them with a Peacock subscription.

Cortney Reardanz has had not one but two 90 Day Fiancé stars pining for her affection ever since she arrived at the resort for 90 Day: Hunt For Love. Usman Umar and Colt Johnson both wanted her to leave with them, and had this weird rivalry that looked like it was about to last the entire season.

That all changed after Colt broke his leg, and had to be taken out of the resort via ambulance. This left Usman an uncontested path to Cortney's heart, but would his obsession with Cortney following Colt to the hospital come back to haunt him? We finally got our answer, and the details on what's going on with Cortney and the man she chose after the show.

Cortney Told Usman She's Interested In Colt

With only a few days left at the resort, Usman more or less put Cortney on the spot and wanted to know where her head was at. For all the guff he got over obsessing about Cortney going with Colt to the hospital and wanting to check in on him, his fears were not completely unfounded. She felt as though she developed feelings with Colt, and was more interested in pursuing something with him than she was with Usman.

As a longtime 90 Day Fiancé fan, I wasn't entirely surprised by this. Colt was married not once, but twice on the show, and while neither of those marriages worked out, he has a way with the ladies. It also felt like Usman was love-bombing Cortney from the start, making wild overtures and professions of his feelings very quickly. It didn't feel as genuine in comparison to Colt, so I can see why she leaned that direction.

What Happened To Colt And Cortney After The Show?

It's worth mentioning that news about Cortney and Colt being together was on the internet as far back as October of 2024. Noted insider Shabooty reported on that on Instagram, as well as the news about Colt ending his marriage with Vanessa Guerra and re-breaking his leg after previously injuring himself filming the original season of The Last Resort.

Colt moved in with Cortney while he did rehab on his leg, but according to the same insider, the relationship didn't last. While the official details of what went down are not confirmed, it looks like whatever romance Cortney and Colt had was short-lived. Shabooty later alleged in an update on X that Cortney and her parents kicked Colt out of the house, and claimed the arrangement was only made so they could both be filmed during his recovery.

It's worth noting that Cortney has not posted about an update with Usman either, so its possible this whole thing ended up being a bust for all parties involved. It's not a great sign for 90 Day: Hunt For Love, which is increasingly looking like it's going to end with none of the 90 Day singles leaving in a relationship. In fairness, this franchise is not known for creating lasting relationships, so maybe we should've expected that from the start.

90 Day: Hunt For Love continues on TLC on Mondays at 8:00 p.m. ET. Not many episodes are left before we get to the tell-all, so we'll see if anyone surprises us and hooks up in these upcoming episodes.

JAG actress Catherine Bell shared a snippet of the speech Bakula gave to the attendees on her Instagram Stories. The actor, who starred as Sam Beckett in the original Quantum Leap, amusingly busted Bellisario’s chops with these words:

Look, having to overcome that kind of adversity as a child in the 1940s, it’s no wonder Donald Bellisario became a successful television producer! Seriously though, good-natured ribbing is to be expected at a celebration like this. Scott Bakula (also of Star Trek: Enterprise fame) and Bellisario go way back, so the former definitely has the leeway to tell a story like that about the latter, and everyone knows it’s coming from a friendly place.

Along with Scott Bakula and Catherine Bell (who played Sarah MacKenzie in all but the first of JAG’s seasons, as well as three episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles), other notable attendees at Donald Bellisario’s birthday party included NCIS actors Michael Weatherly, Cote de Pablo, Sean Murray, Brian Dietzen, Gary Cole and Diona Reasonover. Bell also reunited with JAG costars Patrick Labyorteaux, Karri Turner and Steven Culp, with Bell specifically mentioning in her Stories that she hadn’t seen the former two in about 20 years. I’d also be remiss if I didn’t mention that Bakula is also part of the NCIS franchise from his time as Dwayne Pride on NCIS: New Orleans, though Bellisario wasn’t involved in that spinoff’s creation.

Sofronio Vasquez Is Releasing An EP Produced By Michael Bublé

Michael Bublé is gearing up to appear on his third straight season of The Voice when it returns to the 2025 TV schedule on September 22, but that’s not all he’s got going on. Sofronio Vasquez, who gave the Canadian crooner his first win on the show, made a big career announcement, telling The Filipino Times:

So not only will Michael Bublé produce his former team member’s EP, but the two will collaborate on a couple of songs, including a Christmas number that I’m assuming we’ll get a little closer to the holidays. Bublé isn’t the only big name Sofronio Vasquez is working with, either, as The Voice coach said on Instagram that music legends Paul Anka and David Foster helped to launch his career, and now he’s joining them to pay it forward for Vasquez. Bublé wrote:

This is a pretty huge deal, and nobody seems to understand that more than The Voice winner himself, who responded to his coach’s post by saying:

The mentors on The Voice have likely helped many artists during the course of the singing competition, but they're under no obligation to the budding artists past that. One former coach, however, is well-known for being that “sponsor” that Sofronio Vasquez talked about.

Michael Bublé Taking A Page Out Of Blake Shelton’s Book By Helping His Voice Team Member

Though the two coaches never crossed paths on the show, Michael Bublé’s willingness to help foster his team member’s career reminds me of how Blake Shelton is known for staying in touch with past contestants. The cowboy won The Voice nine times over the first 23 seasons of the show, but he likely changed the lives of many more. He’s dueted with former team members, brought them along on tour and given them the stage at his bar Ole Red.

Season 9 runner-up Emily Ann Roberts said following her stint in 2015, her former coach was making calls to get her meetings with industry execs, and she went on to open for Blake Shelton on tour. Season 21’s Lana Scott had a sweet run-in with Shelton at his bar once and has said she’s grateful for the “opportunities he’s given me at Ole Red and around the country.”

In fact, the country music star made such an impression on those he worked with on the show that all nine of his winners and several more team members showed up to pay tribute to him on his final episode of The Voice.

Michael Bublé showed hints that he was willing to follow a similar path on Season 27, when he gave parting contestants his phone number to stay in touch. I’m excited to see what he and Sofronio Vasquez do together and if the coach continues to be a mentor for others outside of the show.

Anderson joins a long line of stars who have different stage names and shared with E! News about the name switch. In addition to it being a part of her legal name, there’s both a sentimental and logical factor that play into the updated moniker. But, also, the now 18-year-old revealed that she’s interested to have her Lily fame on a different page as her new EP Drowned goes public (out now), as she said:

It’s hard to believe that the Lily actress has not only grown up (she attended prom last year) but moved on from acting. At least for the moment. As a fan, I’m excited to check out this EP and support the change of pace for her. It seems to be a smart move for young multi-talented stars who want to dabble in multiple industries. Stranger Things star Joe Keery performs under his stage name, Djo and has been very successful with it. Hopefully Anderson follows in his footsteps.

She also opened up about her new career path, and that she has plenty of aspirations regarding the subject. After Modern Family ended in 2020 (available for streaming with a Hulu subscription or Peacock subscription), Anderson was only 12 at the time and returned to a pretty typical upbringing. She returned to school, singing and started (and continues to run) a FoodMania Review on YouTube with her mom. In the past few years, she learned to write and play music and that’s what really set her dreams into motion, saying:

The break and redirection sounds like the perfect next step in Frances Anderson’s re-entry into the public eye. Five years for a determined and mature tween can bring them pretty far, it seems! I’m excited for how she’ll fare in her chosen field after speaking about her hesitations in recommending child acting to young kids. I think she’d nail a Broadway role, if she does pursue more projects.

Here’s hoping the actress turned singer will hit some high notes as Frances Anderson and forges a separate path from her Aubrey Anderson-Emmons fame. Though, the 2025 TV guide, or any since 2020, haven’t been quite the same without Lily and her family.

The Real Housewives of Miami star has discussed some of the work she’s had done in the past. But when a photo began circulating that showed a dramatically changed face, Pippen took to her Instagram Stories to clear the air. The “swollen” look was due to an allergic reaction, she said (via Page Six), not fillers. In Pippen’s words:

A PRP is a Platelet-Rich Plasma treatment in which a patient’s own blood platelets are injected into a specific area of the body to stimulate cell growth, tissue regeneration, and collagen production, according to experts.

Larsa Pippen’s social media response came after Dr. Mai Kaga posted the viral photo of Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife on Instagram to warn followers about making “questionable surgery choices.” The caption read:

One big question is just what Colbert will do once his tenure on The Late Show comes to an end. It appears he’s ready to entertain offers.

Colbert Jokes About Going To Streaming, And Why Not?

While it’s been suggested that Colbert’s targeting of the Trump administration had a part in The Late Show’s cancellation, Colbert did not pull punches on Friday’s show, putting on a mask of Vice President J.D. Vance and acting like a spoiled child. After dropping the mask at two different points during the monologue, Colbert offered his new “character” to two different streaming platforms, saying…

Colbert is joking, of course. At the same time, while I’m not sure a show featuring Colbert playing J.D. Vance will get picked up by a major streaming platform, if he’s interested, it seems like Colbert himself could be.

Colbert’s predecessor on The Late Show, David Letterman, actually did go to Netflix with the long-form interview show My Next Guest Needs No Introduction. While John Oliver’s Last Week Tonight is technically an HBO production, it appears that most people who watch it do so with an HBO Max subscription.

Considering the popularity of Oliver’s show specifically, it would not be shocking at all if another streamer, like a Netflix or a Prime Video, wanted to get in on that action.

Depending on Colbert’s contract situation, he may not be able to entertain offers until he’s officially done with The Late Show, but considering his popularity, which may only grow as we approach the end of the show, it seems likely the comedian will have some options. The last time that a late-night host was unceremoniously removed from his show, when Conan O'Brien left The Tonight Show, he had no trouble finding work.

Selena Gomez has accomplished a lot in her long career, despite having just turned 33 years old. She’s been nominated for several Emmys and Golden Globes for her work on TV and in movies, as well as Grammys for her music. Gomez took some time to reminisce about her musical journey recently and recalled the “most powerful moment” of one blast from the past — a tune she said she’d love to re-record.

Before Selena Gomez was a solo artist with a handful of albums under her belt (including one with her fiancé Benny Blanco), she was the lead singer of the band Selena Gomez & The Scene. The group formed in 2008 — around the time she was dating Nick Jonas and becoming besties with Taylor Swift — and when she went on the Therapuss podcast with Jake Shane, he asked her what her favorite song from that era was. We've known for quite a while that Jasmine Pineda and Gino Palazzolo were one of the latest 90 Day Fiancé couples to split after marriage, but that hasn't stopped it from becoming some of the most compelling drama in Happily Ever After? Season 9. That trend continued in the latest episode when Jasmine finally met Gino's girlfriend Natalie, but I can't help but question how it went down.

Weeks after Gino told his soon-to-be ex-wife he wanted a divorce, he invited Natalie to Michigan to attend his cousin's birthday party. Admittedly, it might be the lamest way to highlight the fun of living in the midwestern state, but what had me shaking my head is that his family decided to invite Jasmine for what became a heated event.

Jasmine's Arrival Went Exactly How We Expected It To

If it wasn't painfully apparent that Natalie walked into a setup after listening to the wild line of questioning Gino's cousin had for the two of them, it should've been when Jasmine was already hurling insults at Natalie the second she walked in the door. She called her a "stripper" and a "whore," and almost immediately, the two women started going at it. Natalie eventually walked out the door while Jasmine continued to scream "whore" as she exited.

In her confession, Jasmine stated she had no idea she would react that way, but I find that incredibly hard to believe. 90 Day Fiancé fans knew this was coming because Jasmine has a pretty extensive history of causing a scene in tense moments, especially when cameras are rolling. She's had knockdown dragouts with Gino, threatened Natalie Mordovtseva, and even threw down with Rob Warne when she was pregnant. In fairness, that last fight took place after the battle with Gino's girlfriend was filmed, but I think everyone, including Gino's family, knew how this was going to go.

Gino's Family Shouldn't Have Invited One Or The Other To The Party

Breakups are tough, and I get there are times where everyone has to come together as adults and be there for the greater good. That said, this wasn't one of those times. Jasmine and Gino are in the midst of starting a divorce, months after he kicked her out of their home for her relationship with Matt Branistareanu, and he just brought his new girlfriend to meet the family for the first time. If anyone was convinced inviting them both would go smoothly, I'd be shocked.

For that reason, I have to believe that 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? deliberately set this whole scene up specifically for entertainment value. In a rational world, either Jasmine would've opted not to go, or Gino would've decided he wouldn't attend. At the end of the day, we're talking about a random birthday dinner for an adult cousin. Not to call myself out too much here, but I can't remember the last time that I attended birthday festivities for any of my cousins' special days.

Part of me just wants to believe the whole thing was a scripted moment all 90 Day Fiancé participants were in on, because if not, I feel so bad for Natalie. She didn't ask to be pulled into any of this, and she didn't fly into Michigan on her dime to be called a "whore" in front of her boyfriend's entire family by his ex-wife. If my significant other set me up for something like that, I wouldn't be dating them anymore.

When Jennifer Aniston — who played Rachel Green on Friends — sees her BFF Courteney Cox — aka Monica Gellar — it doesn’t sound like there’s too much discussion about their work projects, with Aniston set to return to The Morning Show Season 4 in September and Cox going another round with the Ghostface killer(s) when Scream 7 hits theaters in 2026. Instead, the topic on the table might surprise some, as Aniston told People:

I’m going to have to respectfully but strongly disagree with Jennifer Aniston that this would be boring. I would personally be enthralled to watch the real-life buddies pick apart details of a room or hear their preferences on wall color, furniture and state-of-the-art features (because you KNOW the Friends stars and the people they hang with would have the best of the best).

I know HGTV has been having a tough time recently, but the home design network might want to consider giving these actresses a platform so they can bore people to tears on a larger scale.

It’s not the topic that matters, it’s the fact that Friends fanatics like myself invite the characters of the endlessly rewatchable series into our homes on a regular basis, and it’s really heartwarming to know that the love we see between Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Ross, Chandler and Joey was there, even when the cameras weren’t rolling.

Just seeing them interact in any way makes us happy, like when they call each other by their wild nicknames or share sweet tributes for their former co-stars’ birthdays. The cast finally reunited in 2021 for Friends: The Reunion (available to stream with an HBO Max subscription), which isn’t likely to happen again. In fact, Courteney Cox shut down the idea of another reunion even before Matthew Perry died.

Unless Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox show up on the third and final season of Lisa Kudrow’s The Comeback next year (which I’m totally keeping my fingers crossed for), there’s simply not that much hope of new collaborations between the Friends stars. So would I listen to these two beloved actresses drone on about interior design? Yes, I would. In fact, I think that would be just kick-you-in-the-crotch, spit-on-your-neck fantastic.

I’ll likely never be privy to Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox’s interior design talk, but not to worry; I’ve been just fine with my Friends reruns. You can catch every hilarious Chandler joke, offbeat Phoebe quote and Joey food reference on HBO Max, with all 10 seasons and the reunion available to stream.

Sophie Turner took to Instagram to post about the fun she’d had at the Oasis concert. The post – which included a carousel of photos – not only earned a large number of likes, but fans also took the comments to share positive comments. While I’m not a parent myself, I’d imagine that it can be challenging for parents to find the time to hang out with friends. Based on the X-Men alum’s social media presence, it may be easy to get the impression that she manages to make time for herself when it’s warranted. Earlier this year, she posted photos from a bachelorette trip she attended for a friend’s nuptials. The British actress later attended a wedding (which may or may not have been for that same friend) at which she sported a yellow dress that was giving How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days vibes.

As much as she spends time with her peers, though, Sophie Turner seems to enjoy motherhood as well. Her children were a major topic of discussion after Joe Jonas filed for divorce from her in September 2023. That filing was followed by a custody battle, which reportedly involved the exes spending eight hours in a room hashing out details. Eventually, they reached an agreement, and the former spouses seem to be on good terms. Jonas has praised Turner as a mother, while she even hyped up his new music earlier this year.

Right now, it appears that as Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’ custody agreement remains in effect, they’ll spend time with their kids accordingly. And, considering the response Turner sent that fan, the legal deal could also allow her time to spend with her friends when she’s not enjoying her kids’ company.

Ava Pearl went from floater to Week 5 Head of Household, though she may end up wishing she never won it by the time that Thursday ends. Ava put up Zach Cornell, Week 1 HOH Vince Panaro, and Keanu Soto for eviction, but with the veto up for grabs, there was always a chance one of them would come down.

CinemaBlend is streaming Big Brother's live feeds, which means I know who won the veto, as well as the intriguing decision the winner is facing as the time to decide dwindles down. Here's who won, and why Zach's secret power could make all the difference in how the rest of this week goes.

Katherine Won The Week 5 Veto

It's a big week for "floaters" in the game, as Katherine Woodman came out of nowhere and snagged the Week 5 veto. Frankly, it's a good thing she did win it because Ava had floated her name as a renomination option. She's not a target to anyone else, so this is a rare veto she can use with little consequence to her own game, in my opinion. Whether she'll use it to make a move is a different story, and there are a couple of factors that could influence her decision.

Katherine Using The Veto Could Depend On Zach And Rachel

Katherine has been telling people she doesn't want to use the veto, noting that it would go further with many in the house who would not want to see nominations change. At the same time, she's also talked about how Zach is on the block, and she sees him as someone she really wants out of the game.

What Kat doesn't know is that Zach's $10,000 he won in the Big Brother Season 27 premiere has a catch. He can give that money to the HOH in order to use it to take himself off the block if nominated. In short, Zach is likely going to take himself off the block, meaning Ava will have to renominate at least one person.

If Kat is worried about Zach potentially winning HOH, and would use the veto to save either Keanu or Vince to serve as a shield for herself, I think there's a solid chance she'd save one of them. The tricky thing is that we don't know when or how Zach will be able to use his power, and if Kat will still have the veto in hand when he uses the power.

If I had to guess, I would think that Zach will not be allowed to activate his power until after Kat has used her veto. This is just speculation on my end, however, as that was how Kelley Jorgensen announced her secret power to ultimately remove herself from the block. All this to say, Kat may have no idea about this until it's too late

Another big factor is an interesting conversation between Rachel Reilly and Kat, which involved Morgan Pope. Rachel went to Kat and told her that Morgan believes "everyone wants to evict the showmance." Morgan didn't quite say it like that, but I could definitely see Kat using the veto if she thinks Morgan will now be put up by Ava. If she does, it's wild to say, but I think Keanu will be safe this week despite his dominant streak of veto wins.

Big Brother airs on CBS on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. ET. The 2025 TV schedule is heating up, but there's still plenty of season left to enjoy for those who want to catch up by watching on Paramount+.

The West Wing is the kind of show that makes you feel a little better about the world, even if you just have it on in the background while folding laundry. So there’s no mystery why fans are craving more from that idealized universe. It doesn’t help that cast members like Joshua Malina constantly tease reunion talks, or that Richard Schiff pitched an idea that Sorkin apparently loved. The famed screenwriter himself has even teased ideas for new episodes. However, in today’s politically volatile climate, John Wells has reservations, telling THR:

There’s certainly a challenge in today’s world to create anything with “political” in the description without alienating a large portion of potential viewers. Would a theoretical West Wing reboot be able to avoid making political statements? Would audiences infer them anyway? John Wells points out that’s never what The American President-inspired series was about, continuing:

The West Wing evolved from its original premise when Martin Sheen’s President Bartlet ended up being such a profound presence on the series. The president was originally not intended to be a main character, with Aaron Sorkin wanting to focus on the day-to-day happenings of the White House senior staff.

Of course, fans still got that, with Bradley Whitford, Allison Janney, Richard Schiff, Rob Lowe, Dulé Hill, John Spencer and more always trying to put the good of the American people first, even when they fell short. I’d love to think something like that is still possible. I mean, political dramas do still exist on the 2025 TV schedule.

Could we not visit a world where Sam Seaborn was president (assuming he’s been found since Rob Lowe’s “Missing Person” milk cartons went out)? Or, as Richard Schiff supposedly proposed years ago, focus on government outside of the White House, perhaps at the state level, where OG characters could still pop in to consult?

It feels like there are definitely ways to revisit one of the best shows currently streaming on HBO Max, but I also think John Wells has a pretty valid concern. I expect we’ll continue to be teased with such a project for years to come. For now, though, it fans can see two of their favorite senior staffers reunite in a different fictional White House.

Allison Janney plays Vice President Grace Penn on The Diplomat, and Bradley Whitford will join the cast as her husband in Season 3 this fall. Keep your eye out for that 2025 Netflix premiere date, and in the meantime, go ahead and rewatch your favorite episodes of The West Wing on HBO Max.

Before I get into it, let me explain the rules quickly in case you’ve never seen the game show. In short, 100 people stand on a large, evenly divided board. Everyone has their own square and a category they’ve chosen that they’re particularly knowledgeable about. One lady might have types of flowers, and another lady might have 20th Century artists. A randomizer picks one contestant, and that contestant must pick one person in an adjoining square to face off against in a heads up trivia match about their category.

The loser of the duel goes home, and the winner gets the other person’s square and carries on with either their own category if it wasn’t played yet or the other person’s category if that one wasn’t played. Afterwards, the winner can decide whether to keep playing or go back to the floor and let the randomizer choose someone else. Whoever is the last one left wins $250,000.

The Floor is a fun concept and Rob Lowe works well as the host, but unfortunately, it tends to reward really passive play. The randomizer only chooses contestants who haven’t played yet. So, a majority of people who win their battle simply go back to the floor and wind up sitting on their two squares, while everyone else eliminates each other. It essentially incentivizes hiding.

I wish I could knock the strategy, but under the current rules, not playing is the best way to set yourself up to win the money at the end. The show has tried to introduce some bonuses to get contestants to be more aggressive. Whoever has the most squares (or pieces of the floor) at the end of each episode wins $20,000, and if you win three consecutive battles, you get a time boost of five additional seconds which you can use during any heads up battle of your choice in the future. Those carrots do convince some people to keep going, but there are still way too many that remain passive.

Here’s my solution. Right now, the randomizer only chooses contestants who have not played before. That means if you win one battle, you can sit around and avoid playing again (if someone doesn’t pick you) until every single other contestant has played at least once. That means you can sit there while 50 or 60 people are eliminated without doing anything. I don’t like that. I think the randomizer should be recalibrated to potentially choose anyone who hasn't played or has played exactly once.

Let’s walk through a practical example. Let’s say you have one square and you either get picked by the randomizer or challenged by another contestant. You battle and win. Now, you have two choices, you can either go back to the floor, where you can take a break but are still at risk of being picked by the randomizer, or you can keep going and play once more, with the incentive being you not only pick up another piece of the floor but also then make yourself immune to the randomizer.

Now let’s say you win again, then you still have a compelling choice. You can go back to the floor without worrying about getting hit by the randomizer, or you can keep going and try to win the third duel to pick up the time bonus. That’s now two consecutive decisions the show has given the contestant that offer a high risk, high reward scenario.

It’s a delicate balance. I do think waiting to fight another day is a reasonable strategy. I don’t think the show should force contestants to just keep playing over and over again, but I would like to see more winners who are at least somewhat aggressive during the earlier episodes. That means the players need to be incentivized a bit more to stay and keep playing. The time bonus and the money at the end of each episode help a little bit, but I think requiring them to play a second time to be immune from the randomizer would really help and potentially convince a higher percentage of people to play a third time in order to try and get the time bonus.

The Floor has already been renewed over at FOX for another season and will return to the TV schedule on Wednesday September 24th. In preparation, you can get caught up with old episodes that are available to stream with a Hulu subscription. It's a really fun game show that could eventually become an all-time great. It just needs to keep evolving a little bit to become the best possible version.

Now in its 27th season, South Park remains a notable TV show, and it continues to make headlines for a myriad of reasons. With the show, series creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have long sought to satirize political and social topics. However, the latest episodes have drawn backlash from the White House and more. Considering the blowback, some may wonder whether Paramount execs have a problem with the show. Now, the aforementioned conglomerate’s new CEO is sharing his own thoughts on the series.

What Did Paramount’s Head Honcho Say About The Long-Running Animated Series?

In the aftermath of the merger between Paramount Global and Skydance Media, David Ellison is now the CEO of the newly formed Paramount Skydance Corporation. It’s been rumored that Ellison, a billionaire, is ready to make changes within the company, specifically when it comes to the content it produces. However, based on the comments that Ellison shared about South Park, he’s quite pleased with the program. The exec even admitted to CNN that he’s long been a fan of the show while also praising its producers:

The comments about the co-creators being “equal opportunity offenders” seems to be the CEO opining that the creative team skewers a wide array of people despite their personal or political leanings. David Ellison’s comments notably arrive in the aftermath of Paramount settling a $16 million lawsuit with U.S. President Donald Trump, which was connected to 60 Minutes. That suit was also viewed by financial analysts as being the final issue that needed to be resolved before the merger could move forward.

Some have also speculated that the lawsuit is also connected to the cancellation of The Late Show, as host Stephen Colbert openly criticized his bosses’ decision to settle. The Writers Guild has since called for an investigation into the matter. Also, when CNN asked the Paramount Skydance CEO about whether he personally agreed for the network to air ads that highlight causes backed by President Trump, he said the following:

As David Ellison holds onto that particular stance, South Park’s new season continues to play out. Only two episodes have aired as of this writing, though they’ve been much discussed at this point.

What’s Been Done On South Park Season 27 So Far, And What Have The Responses Been Like?

The Season 27 premiere of South Park lampooned President Trump in multiple ways. Said installment includes a Trump character (with the president’s real face superimposed on a cartoon body). At one point during the episode, that caricature gets in bed with the Devil, a recurring character on the show. In addition, there’s also a live-action scene in which Trump – who’s depicted as being nude– traversing a desert. The White House responded to the parodies with a statement through which officials derided the show.

Aside from the emphasis on POTUS, the series lampooned U.S. Vice President JD Vance, who was depicted as a short assistant to Donald Trump during the second episode. Vance himself later responded to the cartoon with just five words, ‘Well, I’ve finally made it.’ Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem was parodied as well, as the latest episode depicted her as an ICE agent arresting people, shooting dogs and using botox. While she admitted to having not seen the episode, Noem expressed disapproval of the parody.

Considering the negative reactions to some of the material within the newest episodes of South Park, it remains to be seen if David Ellison will hold onto his positive viewpoint of the show. As noted by CNN, though, the show remains a profitable IP for Paramount. The next episode is set to hit Comedy Central on Wednesday, August 13 at 10 p.m. ET amid the 2025 TV schedule.

A lot of questions have surrounded Kelly Clarkson over the past several months due to absences from her talk show and canceled concert dates. An unfortunate explanation came on August 7, when it was revealed that her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock died of cancer after a private three-year battle. So what did the 48-year-old’s final months look like? An insider describes a peaceful life for Blackstock in Montana, where he reportedly felt most “at home.”

Many of Kelly Clarkson’s fans likely remember Brandon Blackstock for fighting with the American Idol alum over their Montana ranch during their divorce and, while the couple certainly went through some contentious times, his diagnosis changed their perspective. She allowed their two children to spend more time with their dad at his home, with US Weekly reporting that Blackstock enjoyed the tranquility of Big Sky Country. They said:

Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock met through the music industry and were married for seven years before she filed for divorce in 2020. After a long legal battle, Blackstock moved out of Clarkson’s ranch in 2022 and purchased his own bachelor pad, where he ran a cattle ranching business. The insider continued:

That includes the two children he shares with Kelly Clarkson — 11-year-old River and 9-year-old Remington — which explains why the talk show host missed those tapings of The Kelly Clarkson Show, as she worked to protect her family’s privacy. Sources also said that the situation was somewhat difficult for Clarkson, given that she was handling transport for her and Blackstock's kids. However, it's also been alleged that the singer and media personality put in a lot of effort for her kids to see their dad.

“Everyone is in shock,” the insider alleges, as Brandon Blackstock’s condition deteriorated rather quickly. They said:

Along with his two kids with Kelly Clarkson, Brandon Blackstock also shared 23-year-old Savannah and 19-year-old Seth with ex-wife Melissa Ashworth. Blackstock was also a grandfather to Savannah’s son Lake, who was born in 2022.

It’s a look I can only describe as giving chic mom. Alexandra Daddario opted to go sans blouse and pair a blue pinstriped suit with large statement earrings and her newly shorn locks. Listen, it may be a little warm in certain parts of the country for some of us to be wearing a suit like this right now, but the Hamptons has fairer weather, and it’s Daddario’s celebrity fashion look that’s heating up the space, here.

The actress was attending the Brunello Cucinelli Hamptons Dinner held at the Wölffer Estate Stables with her husband Andrew Form in tow when she debuted the new hairdo and look. Daddario and Form have been married since 2022, and have been photographed at more events since their marriage, but it's still a treat to see the two arm in arm at the Sagaponack event. (Riccardo Stefanelli is also pictured.)

The actress previously also showed video of the process of shearing off the long hair she’s sported for as long as I can remember, remarking at the time that she “Needed a change!!” This isn't the first time Daddario has showed off the process of getting ready, but I never mind the inside look.

I can confirm that change looks good on the Mayfair Witches star. Speaking of the latter, Rowan has had long hair during the course of the AMC series. But it's also worth pointing out the series has made changes from the Anne Rice books, and Rowan's hair is already one of them, so I think she could pull off the short hair easily, too.

While the show has been renewed for Season 3, it’s not actually expected to begin filming until 2026. (The series was renewed as part of a swell of 2025 cancelations and renewals back in April.) I’m interested to see if Rowan has a new look in the episodes hitting the upcoming TV schedule or if she’ll spend the next few months re-growing out her hair.

After they split up, Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock reportedly continued to co-parent their two children — River Rose (11) and Remington Alexander (9). Now, an insider alleges to Us Weekly that the process wasn’t always easy for the singer and talk show host. Apparently, Clarkson found it difficult, because “was the one who had to transport the kids,” with the source saying it was “really her life that was always turned upside down.” Yet after her ex’s diagnosis, Clarkson reportedly made some changes:

The source also says that Brandon Blackstock’s cancer diagnosis didn’t actually bring him and his ex wife “closer together.” However, she did allegedly ensure that the kids “were with their dad and his family as much as possible.” Blackstock’s family, of course, includes singer Reba McEntire, who was married to his father, Narvel. The source also shared the following details about how the “Breakaway” singer made sure her children spent time with their dad:

This past March, Kelly Clarkson missed tapings of her eponymous talk show ahead of its 1,000th episode. After Clarkson missed more time, rumors began to swirl around her, as she didn’t give any formal reason for her absences. It’s since been confirmed that the reason she missed those shows was so that her children could be with their father as necessary. Now, all of that seems to align with these latest comments about Clarkson’s perspective reportedly having been shifted by her ex-husband’s health issue.

Clarkson and Blackstock tied the knot in October 2013 after having begun dating over a year prior. It was in June 2020 that Clarkson filed for divorce and, from there, the former couple became engaged in a legal battle that spanned a few years. Custody disagreements and a spat over ownership of their Montana-based ranch were involved as well. Clarkson and Blackstock settled their divorce in 2022, though the pair filed legal complaints against each other again a few years later due to commissions Clarkson was legally owed.

Despite the reported drama, though, it was recently reported that Kelly Clarkson kept it “classy” after her ex became ill, and she also remained “protective” of him. At present, she’s reportedly tending to the needs of her kids. The general public can’t actually speak to the specific dynamics that existed between Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock before he died. Like CinemaBlend, though, fans can extend their condolences to Clarkson, her kids and the entire Blackstock family during this time.

If you don’t remember who the Thor alum played on the raunchy show, that’s not surprising given all the Sunny guest stars you may have forgotten. Jaimie Alexander first appeared in Season 1, Episode 3, “Underage Drinking: A National Concern”. In this episode, the gang decides to serve alcohol to minors and gets wrapped up in high school drama as a result. Alexander plays Tammy, a senior set on taking Dennis (Glenn Howerton) to the prom.

Who would've thought that 20 years later, Alexander would reprising her role for the first time in years? With that, she shared some heartfelt words about her reunion with Howerton, who reshared her Instagram story post from his own account:

When she made her first appearance as Tammy in 2005, Jaimie Alexander was only three years older than her character and, ironically, she was exactly the legal drinking age. While this is a full-circle moment OG fans of Sunny can definitely appreciate, I can’t help but feel note just much time has passed since the comedy first aired. Regardless, I love this sweet message and the fact that Tammy has been brought back into the fold.

It's interesting to consider that It’s Always Sunny marked Alexander's first TV role, especially now that she's become a veteran of the medium. Since that first gig, she landed the lead role on Blindspot and appeared in other notable shows like Bones and Nurse Jackie. Alexander even reprised her role as Lady Sif from the Thor franchise for two episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Jaimie Alexander's return for the Sunny Season 17 episode “Overage Drinking: A National Problem” sees Tammy stepping foot into Paddy’s Pub once again. However, this time, she’s there to collect her own underage son, Trey Jr.

That’s right, Tammy and her high school boyfriend, Trey -- played by Robert Adamson -- are still together. And, of course, Charlie has kept up with all the gossip. Now, though, Dee and Dennis are in hot pursuit of the couple and, while Trey and Tammy seem to have grown up, the Reynolds certainly have not.

Following It’s Always Sunny’s highly anticipated crossover premiere with Abbott Elementary, there's been a slight lack in excitement amid Season 17. However, I think this most recent episode featuring Alexander and Robert Adamson’s returns may be a turning point. When writers are in need of material after 16 Seasons, fan service is not a bad option (in some cases). I’d love to see more characters from early seasons return this late in the game. For example, I wonder what became of the Dumpster Baby the gang exploited in Season 3…

That aside, though, Jaimie Alexander's lovely message is a testament to the bonds that can be formed amongst those who work on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. This note came up when Seth Meyers asked Davidson on an episode of Late Night if it was more nerve-wracking to be in a live sketch or watch a pre-taped sketch with an audience. His immediate response to that question was:

Throughout this explanation, and as you can see above, Meyers was agreeing with Davidson. He also cracked a wicked joke afterward, saying that his guest was the only person laughing at his Chad sketch from SNL 50.

Now, in the pre-tape sketch for “Chad in 8H,” which also features OG cast member Laraine Newman, you can hear laughter:

However, we viewers weren't in the room. So, really, we don't know what the vibe was like live.

While we don't really know what it was like to play in that room, we do know how down to clown various A-listers were throughout both this special and the Homecoming Concert. Sabrina Carpenter was at SNL 50, and she took part in the viral Domingo sketch with a bunch of alums from the show, including Andy Samberg, Beck Bennett and Maya Rudolph, and beloved hosts and guests like Pedro Pascal and Bad Bunny.

Speaking of Bad Bunny, he was one of many major celebs who also took part in the homage to some of The Lonely Island’s most iconic digital shorts during the Homecoming Concert. While he sang an operatic version of “I Just Had Sex,” Lady Gaga belted a rendition of “Dick in a Box.”

Oh! And Meryl Streep made her SNL debut during the 50th anniversary. She was part of the “Close Encounter 50th” sketch alongside Jon Hamm, Woody Harrelson, Pedro Pascal, Kate McKinnon and Aidy Bryant.

Speaking of Streep, while Davidson wasn’t the biggest fan of performing to that crowd at SNL 50, he did enjoy sitting next to the legendary actress. He explained:

Well, while he may not have been the biggest fan of performing for this crowd, I’m happy Pete Davidson had fun sitting in it. Personally, I can’t even imagine sitting in the same room as Meryl Streep, so the notion of randomly being placed next to her is truly wild. However, it also sounds wonderful.

To that point, I’d imagine a room like SNL 50 is hard to play because it’s intimidating too. It’s full of comedians who made the show what it is, along with a ton of the biggest actors, performers and celebrities working.

However, they handled it all very well, and this show was a massive success. Now, we’re making our way toward SNL Season 51, and hopefully those audiences can be Pete Davidson-approved.

Although she exited as a series regular in Season 24, Giddish has made numerous returns to SVU since then. Rollins got a job as a Sergeant for Manhattan’s Intelligence Unit, married Carisi, gave birth, and much more. So there will be a lot in her life that the show will be able to focus on again, and plenty of stories to tell. And with SVU entering Season 27 with its first female showrunner, Giddish told Extra what she’s most looking forward to with these new possibilities:

As Giddish said, Michele Fazekas was once a writer and producer on SVU, and she was responsible for one of Benson and Stabler’s most iconic episodes. So, you know that there will be some good storylines coming this season.

After 26 seasons, SVU certainly needs something fresh. Even though there’s no telling what will happen in Season 27, Giddish did tease the premiere episode, which airs on Thursday, September 25, and it sounds like fans will be in for quite a ride:

It’s hard to predict what will happen in the season premiere, but we already know that Octavio Pisano will be returning as Velasco after being cut from the cast ahead of the new season. My guess is his appearance will likely just be for the first episode to wrap up his story. Hopefully, though, it will leave a door open for his return in the future. But fans will just have to see what happens in the premiere episode.

Meanwhile, it was a pleasant surprise when it was announced that Kelli Giddish would be returning to SVU as a series regular. Her departure upset many, including some of the cast, especially since it came as a surprise. Once she started being brought back occasionally, the hope was that it would soon be full-time, and it’s so good to have her back. There will be a lot to look forward to with her and everyone else, and there’s no telling what they have planned.

With Law & Order: SVU returning next month, it shouldn’t be long until more details surrounding the premiere are revealed, but the wait will be worth it. And seeing Amanda Rollins again on a full-time basis is going to be even better. After CBS announced the cancellation of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in July, visceral reactions were shared by a number of fans as well as celebrities. In terms of stars, disappointed messages from Jimmy Kimmel, Bowen Yang, Jimmy Fallon and more flooded social media. Other big names have continued to express their disagreement with the decision to take Colbert off the air in 2026. However, an insider is now claiming that Colbert is losing support, and they also shared the alleged reason for that.

Stephen Colbert has been very vocal about the demise of his show, as he’s brought it up on air a few times since he solemnly shared the news amid a late-July broadcast. The veteran host has, nevertheless, poked fun at the situation and taken jabs at his employers. On the July 21 edition of The Late Show, Colbert joked that his bosses may have taken him off the air, but they “made one mistake” – they “left [him] alive.” As Colbert continues that habit, a source tells The National Enquirer that his sentiments are now losing him supporters:

The unnamed individual also claims that some are starting to view the former Colbert Report host as somewhat “bitter.” On top of that, there’s also purportedly a belief that if Colbert doesn’t “calm down and stop dragging people’s names,” he’ll “end up in legal trouble.” Of course, all of these allegations should be taken with a massive grain of salt at this time.

News of The Late Show’s cancellation at the Eye Network was formally announced by the company’s big brass. Execs attributed the decision to “financial” variables, though some have been skeptical about that. Ahead of the announcement, Stephen Colbert openly criticized his employers for settling a $16 million lawsuit with U.S. President Donald Trump. (That legal move also occurred while CBS’ parent company, Paramount Global, was aiming to finalize its merger with Skydance Media.) All in all, some believe the move was politically motivated, and the Writers Guild has also called for an investigation.

Insiders have dropped claims about how network executives are feeling about the on-air comments Stephen Colbert has made since news of his talk show’s axing was made public. Supposedly, Colbert is rubbing people the wrong way with his methods, and an unnamed exec claimed that, at this point, he’s essentially “daring” them to fire him. All the while, it’s also been alleged that Colbert’s staff is not feeling good about the show coming to an end.

While this latest source claims support from A-listers is “waning,” some have spoken in favor of The Late Show and its hosts as of late. Andy Cohen opined that CBS was “cooked” for taking the program off the air. Also, John Oliver also believes the decision is “incredibly sad,” as there now won’t be an opportunity for the show to be handed off to another host and writing staff in the future. Oliver and Cohen were also just two of the various celebrities who appeared on TLS to take part in an in-studo gag, which can be seen below:

As of this writing, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is set to conclude its run in May 2026. The general public will just have to wait and see how Colbert continues to address the situation on air and just how many stars continue to openly voice support for him.

A version of Kristi Noem – who some have referred to as “ICE Barbie” – is featured heavily in the South Park episode “Got a Nut.” This iteration of Noem is depicted as an overzealous agent of ICE (United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement), who leads a series of raids. During those incursions, Noem is seen killing aggressive dogs and using botox on herself as necessary all while arresting citizens she believes to be Hispanic. The cartoon Noem also poses for photos and, during the show, her face is also depicted as melting.

The real U.S. secretary was asked about the parody while appearing as a guest on Glenn Beck’s radio show. Amid the interview (which is on YouTube), the government official admitted that she hadn’t seen the episode for herself due to being busy “going over budget numbers and stuff.” Nevertheless, she still took issue with the series (which is streamable with a Paramount+ subscription) making jokes about her looks:

Throughout South Park’s lengthy run, the writers and producers have parodied a myriad of public figures, including actors, politicians, musicians and more. Ultimately, the reactions to those spoofs can vary by person. Some have expressed disdain over how they’re portrayed on the show, while others don’t have as big a problem with it. While speaking with CinemaBlend, NFL legend John Elway even expressed an appreciation for the multiple times he’s been poked fun at on the show.

Such feelings haven’t been the case for those parodied on Season 27 thus far, though. The season premiere not only featured a Donald Trump character in bed with the Devil, but it also featured a video of a naked President Trump while in a desert. After that, the White House released a blistering statement with which it derided Comedy Central’s much-discussed show. U.S. Vice President JD Vance was also parodied, with a photo of his face being superimposed onto a diminutive body. Vance responded on social media by simply saying, “Well, I’ve finally made it.”

Considering South Park’s history and the vibe of this latest season, it may be fair to assume that the writers aren’t done skewering public figures with these latest episodes. The series’ version of President Trump now seems set to be a recurring character of sorts. As for the show’s version of Kristi Noem, it remains to be seen whether she’ll be featured again after the latest episode ended with her shooting up a dog grooming salon.

The third episode of South Park Season 27 is set to air on Comedy Central on Wednesday, August 13 at 10 p.m. ET. Also, fans can stream that episode the next day on Paramount+.

It hasn’t always been easy for Jinger Duggar Vuolo to talk about her upbringing as part of the family that found fame on 19 Kids and Counting. It’s been “hard and scary,” she’s said, to discuss the “disturbing” religious environment Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar raised her and her numerous siblings in. But there are aspects of being part of such a large family that are wild in other ways, and I’m talking about that grocery bill.

Part of what enthralled America to the Duggars was the sheer number of mouths that needed to be fed. Jinger Duggar Vuolo and her husband Jeremy tackled that very issue on their podcast, rewatching a TLC special from 2006 — 16 Children & Moving In, which came two years before the series that would become 19 Kids and Counting. The special showed the family making their way across an Aldi in Arkansas before hitting the checkout, with Jim Bob Duggar saying:

OK, whoa, let’s break this down. These two parents brought at least a baseball team’s worth of children into the grocery store and filled SEVEN carts. That must have been madness. Then to spend $700 in one trip is what Jinger Duggar called “insane.”

However, at less than $100 a cart, I have to agree with Jim Bob here, because these days I’m finding that just one cartload of food can hit $300 easily. Thanks, inflation! Jeremy Vuolo addressed that exact point, saying:

That sounds more like what you’d pay in a month for rent than what you’d spend on food in a week! No wonder Jim Bob Duggar called grocery shopping a “major operation.”

Thank goodness it sounded like Michelle Duggar knew how to stretch her dollar. She bought in bulk, and Jinger recalled always being very frugal and not letting anything go to waste. Her childhood consisted of lots of canned fruits, soups and bean burritos. Michelle listed off a few items on her grocery list during the TLC special, saying:

Jinger Duggar confirmed the family would “easily blow through” seven carts full of food, so I’m sure these wild outings to the grocery store were just part of normal life for the Duggars.

It’s been 10 years since 19 Kids and Counting was canceled and four years since the spinoff Counting On was axed by TLC. It doesn’t sound like Jinger has plans to return to reality TV anytime soon, but at least we can still hear her talk about what life was like on The Jinger & Jeremy Podcast. TikTok user NateDaGreat Comedy posted a video of him singing lyrics he had written for the Law & Order theme song, and it’s nothing like what Seth MacFarlane sang in Ted 2. The video has since gone viral with over a million views and a notice from NBC. That isn’t the only recognition that he got, though, as Scott, who has played Detective Vincent Riley since Season 23, reacted to the TikTok while on set:

Scott jokingly called out a discrepancy with the lyrics, pointing out that the suspects in the show are wanted for murder and not for taking tags off at the scanner as the lyrics implied. But that’s what makes it all the more hilarious. The actor also praised the lyrics and the lyricist, saying he gives off a The Weeknd vibe and is a super fan. But now I would love to hear lyrics for all of the Law & Order shows.

Even without lyrics, the Law & Order theme song remains iconic. So much so that creator Dick Wolf has it as his ringtone, as Mariska Hargitay accidentally found out last year. It’s one of those theme songs that no matter how many times you hear it, you can’t help but listen to it. People have even created some viral dances to it over the years, with Hargitay and Kelli Giddish dancing along to one on TikTok very recently.

Now, the lyrics make all this even better, but it also makes it harder to get the track out of my head.

Meanwhile, if it couldn’t be seen from NBC’s TikTok, Law & Order Season 25 is currently in production. It’s hard to tell what will be in store, but even if there won’t be suspects taking tags off scanners, there will certainly be more suspects wanted for murder. Maybe writers will even get more inspiration from the lyrics and vice versa.

Between the viral lyrics and dances, Law & Order is continuing to prove that it is everlasting, no matter how long it’s been on and no matter how long it will be on. There doesn’t seem to be an end in sight for the franchise, and it wouldn’t be surprising if more people were to jump on the bandwagon with their own lyrics.

In the meantime, Law & Order and its officially wordless theme song can be streamed with a Peacock subscription. The show will be returning on Thursday, September 25 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

The entrepreneur took to her Instagram Stories (via People) to reveal that she was watching TVD. Like many, Jenner weighed in on the Team Damon and Team Stefan debate, revealing that she was, at least for the moment, leaning towards Paul Wesley’s Stefan Salvatore. She shared just how far into the eight-season series she was, and seeing that, I think it's quite possible her tune could change:

Jenner is one of the many people who are on Team Stefan, and even to this day, that debate still continues. Despite Somerhalder calling Damon one of the best-written characters, even he couldn’t help but agree with The Kardashians star.

He responded to Jenner’s Instagram Story to give his thoughts on that matter and wish her a happy birthday. He also promoted the documentary film Common Ground, which is streaming with an Amazon Prime subscription and features Somerhalder:

I love that Somerhalder didn’t need to respond to the Instagram Story, but he wanted to, further proving that no matter how much time has passed, The Vampire Diaries will always be close to his heart. And the responses didn’t stop there. Jenner reposted the actor’s reply and was as excited as ever, and I can’t blame her:

I also wouldn’t blame Kylie Jenner if this ended up pushing her to Team Damon, but she is only in Season 3, so she still has plenty of time to switch sides if that ever comes up. I think that could happen too, since Somerhalder responded to Jenner’s post one more time, writing:

While Somerhalder is still on that TVD high, it’s unknown whether the show will ever be revived. Creator Julie Plec has stated before that she has plans to keep the universe going after Legacies was canceled, so it’s possible that even if Vampire Diaries doesn’t get revived, fans could be revisiting that world eventually. Nothing is confirmed, however.

But, at least fans are able to watch the show with an HBO Max subscription, which seems to be working just fine for Jenner and probably a lot of other viewers.

The 2025 TV schedule is all set to bring a familiar face back to the small screen, but in an entirely new environment for fans, as Donnie Wahlberg returns to his long-time role as Danny Reagan on Boston Blue, roughly a year after the final season of Blue Bloods debuted. The New Kids on the Block singer has admitted to having some conflicting feelings about carrying on the Reagan legacy without his former castmates, but now that he’s several weeks into filming the spinoff, he’s opened up about a “tricky” part of the new show that does seem totally annoying.

What Did Donnie Wahlberg Say Is The Tricky Part Of Filming Boston Blue?

Though hopes were high for the possibility that Blue Bloods could’ve been saved from its November 2023 cancelation (with star Tom Selleck, specifically, having thought that a move to streaming would be the obvious answer), late 2024 still brought about the series finale, and what will likely be the last on-screen Reagan family dinner for quite some time.

Donnie Wahlberg began filming his Boston Blue spinoff with new co-star and Star Trek: Discovery alum Sonequa Martin-Green this summer, and while speaking about the joys of filming in his hometown of Boston with MLB Network’s Intentional Talk, he also revealed a “tricky” aspect I wouldn’t have thought of:

Alright, I am not a sports person, but I do understand that the people who are diehard baseball/football/hockey/etc. fans are REALLY FANS. If you’re serious about sports, once you have your teams, that tends to be it, and those are your teams for life. This means that while The Sixth Sense actor can technically enjoy working in his hometown for the foreseeable future, he won’t be able to revel in his Red Sox fandom on the drama, because Danny (gasp!) is only a fan of New York teams. Wahlberg continued:

Wow. I tell you, this sports fandom really goes deep with some folks, doesn’t it? Well, we’ll all be able to see how Danny deals with his relocation (and hopefully get the reason for it) when Boston Blue debuts in what was the Blue Bloods timeslot, on October 17.

In probably the biggest surprise casting of Survivor 50, host Jeff Probst announced the creator of The White Lotus would be returning to play for the second time. In general, fans have been super stoked about the acclaimed writer heading back to Fiji, given how well he played the first time, but predictions about how exactly he’ll do have been all over the board.

Some fans feel he’s going to be an easy target for an early boot, given he’s a wealthy celebrity with a high profile career. Others, however, think he’s going to have a much longer run, given how strong he’s proven in the past at forming close social relationships with his tribemates. In fact, there are even theories going around that his history of giving Survivor castaways he’s close to walk-on roles in The White Lotus will potentially help him stick around.

If you’re wondering how mainstream those theories have gotten, Probst was actually asked about the cameos during a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter. He obviously wouldn’t comment on whether they came up during Survivor 50, which recently concluded filming, but he did say he was broadly supportive of the cameos in general, of which there have been several. Here’s a portion of his quote…

There’s a minority of fans who think the potential cameos may be an unfair influence on his tribemates, but I tend to look at it like this. Everyone comes to Survivor with certain skills and certain things they can offer the tribe. Some people are big threats. Some people are able to slide under the radar. Some people can fish. Some people are good conversationalists. The list goes on. You have to use whatever you can to help you advance. Mike has a huge target on his back because of his celebrity; so, if his history of giving out cameos to his friends helps mitigate that, that’s fair play in my book.

Of course, not everyone is so interested in a cameo though. Many of White’s former tribemates have jumped at the chance to appear on The White Lotus, but one notable omission has been Jeff Probst. The longtime face of Survivor hasn’t appeared, and if he’s to be believed, that’s not going to happen. He was asked about cameoing during the same interview, and he poured cold water all over it.

I think he could figure out a way to work Probst in, but I do think it would be a lot more complicated, given he’s a lot more recognizable than your average Survivor player. Even non-fans would likely say, “isn’t that the Survivor guy?” in a way that hasn’t happened with Angelina or any of the other random player cameos.

Survivor 50 is scheduled to premiere on CBS in early 2026. The cast will include 24 returning players including White. Fans were initially very vocal about some of the casting choices and the alleged format of the season, but that frustration has largely subsided and turned into straight excitement. Personally, I can’t wait to see White and everyone else back out there, and in an ideal world, I can’t wait to see at least a few of the people show up on White Lotus. Fingers crossed for Coach and Cirie.

With the Diddy trial’s mixed verdict handed down, the next step for the seemingly disgraced music icon comes down to sentencing. As his lawyers explore every possible option that they feel best benefits their client’s well-being, justice also needs to be served according to said verdict.

With that in mind, the legal team behind Sean Combs’ defense has sought bail, with their petitions being unsuccessful. Some would question why they’re so adamant in seeing their client avoid prison, but they’ve actually a reason that hasn’t been discussed a lot during these proceedings.

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Latest Petition To Be Released On Bail Was Denied

Per reporting by Deadline, the request to have Diddy (who’s also being sued, along with his son Christian, on allegations of assault on Combs’ yacht) released on a $50 million bail was denied by Judge Arun Subramanian. This decision was handed down, despite Team Diddy providing a letter from ex-girlfriend Virginia Huynh that claimed he met the metrics to prove himself not to be a flight risk before his October 3rd sentencing. Judge Subramanian explained his rejection of this request, in part through the following remarks:

The crux of the “All About The Benjamins” rapper’s plea is one that ties into the very reason he’s seeking to be released on bail. Tying into the supposedly “horrible things” Diddy has faced in prison, the supposed improvement of Bad Boy Records’ founding father has come from treatment through therapy, that all involved are looking to continue. Which leads to another condition that Combs’ representation may be seeking in the lead up to his sentencing.

According To Diddy’s Lead Lawyer, Home Confinement Could Be An Option

Lawyer Marc Agnifilo, who has been leading Diddy’s legal representation through this matter, spoke with TMZ about the matter at hand a little more in depth. Talking about how Diddy has therapists “lined up…from the outside,” Agnifilo cited the Metropolitan Detention Center he’s being held in as deficient in that line of care, as follows:

In conducting this conversation, TMZ founder and producer Harvey Levin also asked Marc Agnifilo if seeking home confinement would be the “best way to get real professional help.” Taking that ask into consideration, as well as the supposed 1-3 year sentence that may see Diddy in confinement, Agnifilo provided this response:

Despite all of the stories involving Mr. Combs' "swinging" lifestyle, and the results of the recent trial, some think Diddy could still have a career. Others even think that a potential pardon from President Trump could be an option as well.

Regardless of the court's decision, if that hypothetical comeback has any chance of happening, its best chance is likely through a campaign of self-improvement and making amends. We’ll see how things move forward in the meantime, as Sean Combs’ sentencing is scheduled to take place on October 3rd.

CBS made some interesting moves in the months before the merger was finalized, including settling a lawsuit brought by President Trump against 60 Minutes and announcing the cancellation of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Some analysts suggested the moves were made to help smooth the path toward federal approval of the merger by currying favor with the White House, and thus wonder if CBS News may be compromised going forward.

In a press conference following the finalization of the merger, Gerry Cardinale, founder and managing partner of Redbird (the top investor in the new company), told Deadline that there will be no outside influence on the news for the "simple" reason that it’s a bad investment. Cardinale said…

One of the requirements set by the FCC in approving the merger was the installation of an ombudsman whose job wouldn't be to take complaints over alleged bias in coverage. The new Paramount team pushed back during the press conference that that position would necessarily influence the news, saying the ombudsman’s job was “transparency,” not “oversight.”

At the end of the day, Redbird is looking for a return on its investment, and if it believes that CBS News as an objective organization will provide that, it’s less likely to influence it. Cardinale feels that when investing in a news organization, independence is the thing that you're really investing in. He went on...

It’s understandable why there are so many questions surrounding the future of CBS News. Following the settlement of the lawsuit with President Trump, Late Show host Stephen Colbert referred to the deal as a “bribe,” and the announcement of the show’s cancellation was only days later. While CBS claimed the decision was purely financial, a lot of people don’t believe that, as evidenced by the number of folks who have been flooding Paramount's social media channels with calls to cancel Paramount+.

It will likely take months to see if there is truly a discernible difference in the way CBS News is presented. Certainly, a lot of very interested people will be watching. One who might be is Stephen Colbert himself, who, with his show set to end in May, seemingly has little left to lose.

Maybe it's the fact that Keanu Soto keeps winning the veto nonstop, but it's hard to shake the feeling that Big Brother Season 27 has become a bit dull. The CBS reality show was at the top of my most-anticipated list of series on the 2025 TV schedule, and thus far, it hasn't been too exciting. Fortunately, it looks like that's about to change, as the Week 5 Head of Household is looking to shake things up in a big way.

CinemaBlend is streaming Big Brother online and watching the live feeds, and we know who won the HOH. So, here is who won and is already talking about making some significant moves. And let me tell you, I've been waiting to see this for the past month.

Ava Won The Week 5 HOH

I had Ava Pearl on my shortlist of Big Brother 27 Houseguests I was worried about, but it looks like I was wrong. She is running the house in Week 5, and while she's played a floater role up to this point and seemed like a non-threat, she's positioning herself to have the most impactful HOH of the season.

Ava Is Putting Up People Who Haven't Been Nominated Yet

Ava is looking to shake up the Big Brother house in a big way and finally keep one of the usual suspects off the nomination block. Kelley Jorgensen is seemingly safe this week, despite Ava struggling to remember her name in a conversation with Will Williams. Unfortunately, Keanu Soto won't be afforded that same luxury, but it is worth noting that he isn't her target.

Instead, Ava has her eyes on Week 1 HOH Vince Panaro, who played a part in Jimmy getting evicted in Week 4. Ava also plans on putting up Zach Cornell, who has been on absolutely no one's radar since Big Brother Season 27 started, despite winning $10,000 on premiere night. Finally, we're seeing two new people fight for their lives on the block!

There are a few interesting things that can happen this week that have me very excited. For starters, Zach will have to decide whether he's going to sacrifice his $10,000 to take himself off the block and keep himself safe for the week. I'm assuming he will use it, but he could always win this week's veto first and hold onto it.

Say Keanu wins the veto, and then Zach has to take himself off the block. Ava will be psyched to learn she now has $10,000, but will likely be upset she has to make two renominations. Granted, Ava is counting on making at least one renomination, and has said she'd put up Morgan Pope or Katherine Woodman if she has to. We could legitimately have a week where four people who haven't been nominated in Big Brother yet are put on the block!

All this being said, the week is young, and there's no telling how Ava might change her mind once people start coming down. The temptation to put up Kelley will undoubtedly be strong, and if she can't even remember her name, I doubt Ava is really that concerned about putting her up. Even so, I'm crossing my fingers that we'll finally see Season 27 pick up some steam and get some real drama in the house.

Clarkson and Blackstock share two young kids, River, who is 11, and Remington, who is 9. According to People, their mom has “been devastated” for them. When their father’s death was announced, we also learned that he’d been battling cancer privately for three years. According to this insider, during that time, his ex-wife was working to “keep things classy” while protecting her family. They said:

It’s worth noting that after seven years of marriage, Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock filed for divorce in 2020. The process of finalizing it was drawn out, though, and took two years. Over that time, there was drama about their Montana ranch, and they had to work out custody for their kids (Clarkson was granted primary custody), among other things.

However, this source claimed that even though that was a difficult battle, she always prioritized her children’s relationships with their dad. To that point, the insider alleged:

Back in 2021, Clarkson talked about co-parenting on The Kelly Clarkson Show, noting that “it’s tough.” She explained that she and Blackstock did “agree on the main things,” however, since they weren’t together most of the time, it was hard.

At the time of this writing, Kelly Clarkson has not publicly commented on his death. However, as stated earlier, she did announce less than a day before he died that she’d be postponing her Las Vegas residency. In her statement, she explained that she was doing it to be “fully present” for her kids after saying that Blackstock had “been ill.”

Also, over the last few months, Clarkson missed episodes of her show, which left people wondering why. There was a rumor that she was absent because Blackstock was sick. However, it was only fully confirmed that he was ill when the singer announced that she’d be postponing her concerts.

At the moment, it’s unclear how this tragic loss will impact her future concerts and her show on the 2025 TV schedule. However, as we learn more about that, we’ll keep you posted. Right now, what’s important is she’s spending time with her family and mourning this tragic loss.

The mid-to-late '00s brought forth a lot of shows that are now considered some of the best sitcoms available today. For many of those series’ beginnings though, including Community’s, that title was far out of reach. Even with a growing fan base that seemed to enjoy the junior college comedy, critics had varying opinions on Community. Joel McHalen, one of the shows’ leads, recalled a particularly brutal one early on that hit closer to home.

Though the now-beloved Community has long since ended on the small screen, we’ve seen McHale multiple times over on the 2025 TV schedule since then (Animal Control, Yellowjackets, etc). Yet, while talking with Collider, the staple series remains as a large talking point. The comedian revealed he kept his head down while transitioning from hosting The Soup to acting, but wondered how he’d be received. He recalled that reporters were harsh to Community and, similar to Andy Richter’s experience, it was before everyone jumped onto the bandwagon:

Ouch! That’s brutal, but seemed somewhat common then, with Richter experiencing the same thing. Newer faces and projects that seemed to stray from the norm were subjected to that deeply scrutinized write-up. I do love that McHale took note of how his funnyman peer kept the receipts to share with critics who eventually changed their tune.

Humorously, it seems like as Joel McHale, pivoted, he took that karmic page right out of O’Brien’s partner’s playbook. As the Community cast started to attend Comic-Con events with some regularity, journalists probed about the possibilities of cancellation. That’s when McHale jumped in to combat the doubters by citing the rising ratings. Then when he realized they filled their first hall, he knew that the razor-sharp oddball comedy was doing just fine, as he said:

Don’t you just love an underdog story? I’m sure it must’ve felt pretty incredible that first time the Community cast filled a whole room at Comic-Con, and especially so riding the wave of The Office and going toe to toe with Parks and Recreation. But by having Dan Harmon at the helm and an A+ cast, it was destined to be great.

With the long-awaited upcoming Community movie on the way (though likely not for the 2026 movie calendar), I’m sure McHale and co. are gearing up for its airing. Though this time around, there shouldn’t be any reviews as personal as the one the Jeff Winger actor got hit with. It looks like people, overall, enjoyed his role in the 2025 movie California King. And with how thrilled McHale is about signing onto Scream 7, another great performance seems to lie ahead of us.

Here’s hoping the Community actor doesn’t have any more unwarranted savage critiques of his person. If he can hold the disgruntled lawyer act down against the incredible Troy and Abed antics, there are no notes that need to be discussed, in my opinion.
